Bring on the fun days!

Today was the first day of Nunda Fun Days and it all began with the Kid Parade.

Dean and Prophet dressed up as Aliens. They were so darn cute. The float was a Spaceship. They even won a price!

I asked Dean to draw a picture of an alien to decorate the cart with and this is what he drew. I was so amazed! He is so smart.

Some of my favorite floats...

Boston

Grandma and Grandpa Bingham came to visit last week. We took a little trip to Boston. It was really fun to get out of the house with the kids. We havent taken a trip all together, it was great to get to the hotel and jump on the beds. Dean loved it.

Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came.

Dean: "We drove 8 hours for this?"

Dean sitting in the both that Paul Revere used to sit.

Even in Boston a little taste of home. Gotta love it!

3

Oh gosh, its been 3 years since my life changed forever. 3 years since I became "mommy". Best thing that has ever happened.

Dean's birthday was pretty fun, he is obsessed with lightning mcqueen so it was a no brainer what the theme would be. I enjoyed putting everything together and seeing his little face light up everytime he saw something, from the invitations, to the gift bags to the cake. He had a great time and really enjoyed his gifts.

I initially had some games planned, but a friend brought some fishing poles and the kids got so excited that we just did that. The pinata was also a hit, literally, a couple kids got taken down while running for the candy.

The cake was the funnest part for me. It took me like 5 hours to make but it was worth every minute. When I first started Dean took one look at it and said "Spongebob square pants?", hehehe, that was before I carved it and it was one large rectangle. After that I did not let him see it until it was done. He loved it.

Enjoy the Picts!!!

The invitation was cut into puzzle pieces, the kids had to build the puzzle to see the invitation. Idea came from Dean, since he loves puzzles. Thank you Steph for hand cutting all those invitations! YOU ROCK!

Easter Randomness

MOM....I TUCK

I was very happy the other day since it was the first day in almost 3 years that I was able to shower without any signs of Dean trying to break into the bathroom. A shower all to myself, how I miss those days!!! After 5 minutes however I started to worry, if he is not trying to take down the bathroom door....what is he doing?

So I turned off the shower to see if I could hear anything and indeed I heard him saying "Mom, mom, I tuck". So I get out of the shower only to find him stuck in one of the dinning room chairs. How he got there I dont know. But I tell you one thing, I am considering on patenting these things. Imagine the things I could get done if I could put him in one for a couple hours every day!!!

We rocked Easter

I really wanted the boys to wear something new for Easter, and frankly I was a little fed up with the choice of baby clothes available in stores. Im tired of dressing my boys in pretty baby blues with cute little animals, I wanted something different and since I could not find what I wanted I created it myself.

This is how we rocked easter.

Love Noah's coordinating bloomers, but they were a pain to make and he outgrew them in 2 hours.

Here are some other shirts I made them, cant wait for them to use them.

If Dean were a girl

This is what he would look like in a mini skirt.....

This is actually Dean dressing himself for bed. He put both legs in one hole. I thought it looked hilarious cuz he looks like he is wearing a mini skirt.
